After board and training your dog comes home and we do an extensive private lesson. This lesson covers equipment, establishing rules and boundaries in the home, walks through a training session step by step and makes sure that your dog is listening to you before we leave. After we’re gone we offer a lifetime of support in the form of text, phone calls, email, zoom calls, and follow up lessons.
This program is not suitable for dogs with serious behavior issues involving aggression. If you have an aggressive dog check out our Behavior Modification page.
Frequent Questions
Can I switch to the 6 week half way through? Or send my dog back for off leash training later?
Yes! Sort of, if half way through the 3 week program you want to switch to the 6 week we can do that. If after your dog comes home you want the Off-Leash obedience, we will need 30 days.
What does my dog need for their stay?
We just need enough food to cover their stay and any medication they may be on.
Is my dog just going to stay in a kennel all day?
NO! Play time and learning to relax out side of the kennel are essential for at home successs. You’re dog will sleep in a kennel at night and will spend some time in one during the day but that will be broken up by play time, walks, training sessions, enrichment, and hang out time.
Can I come visit my dog?
Absolutely! We love owner visits, its a perfect time to start introducing you to the training equation. All visits are by appointment only and must be booked 24 hours in advanced.
What if I want them to learn something not on that list?
We can train alternative behaviors like tricks or work on specific problems you’re having with your dog on a case by case basis, just mention it in your consultation so we can put that in your dogs file.
Do I get updates?
We send out pictures from training and a short report every Tuesday then training videos with a report every Friday while your dogs is with us. You can also check out our instagram stories for daily training content.
