ABOUT OUR TRAINING
We have four pillars that our training stands upon. These build upon each dog as individuals to create a dog who is fulfilled, clearly understands communication, can exist at calm liberty, and has functional obedience.
Biological Fufilment
Bioligical Fufilment is first a healthy dog physically. In order to learn affectivly a dog should have its basic needs for food, water, shelter, and safty met.
The second order of business is fulfilling dogs emotionally through social connection and contact, satiating natural drives, and desires to overcome resistance.
Clear Communication

Clear communication is necessary for understanding. Dogs don’t speak English so clearly communicating what behaviors are desired and undesired is vital.
Then we set clear parameters of what commands mean and clear consequences for listening or failing to listen.
Calm Liberty
The majority of your dog’s life won’t be inside a training session, so we want your dog to learn how to exist at liberty in many environments and maintain a calm and polite demeanor.
Functional obedience builds upon the clear communication in real life scenarios. This training emphasizes you and your dog having the tools to go out in the real world. Whether it’s waiting at the door, calmly greeting guests, off leash hiking, going to pet friendly stores, dining on patios, and everything else.
Training Plans
Every breed from pup to senior we’re here to help you reach your goals.
Enjoy training at your own pace with the guided help of our trainer. We teach you the methods we use to teach your dog at home and on the road.
Private lessons may include basic and advanced obedience, manners, tricks, and competitive obedience
Let your dog stay with us and enjoy one on one lessons with our trainer every day for 3 or 6 weeks. This training lets your dog learn everything while you continue to go about in your life or go on vacation. Once they’re done we teach you everything they’ve learned and how to keep up with the training.
Your puppy stays with us for 7 days and is jump started on manners, socialization and obedience.
They come home and you get 4 weeks of private lessons to continue and advance their training.
Agressive Dogs
BEHAVIOR MODIFICATION
Sometimes your problems aren’t general obedience but something more serious. If your dog has bitten a person or other dog we recommend our behavior modification program. This is a mix of an initial lesson and consultation then 6 weeks of board and training then 4 weeks of lessons when your dog comes home to make sure you’re feeling confident. Then a lifetime of help afterwards as needed.
